Overview

Plant Fusion Protein provides energy for active muscle and supports muscle growth. It supports lean body mass, GI health, and immune function thanks to its 3.4g of L-glutamine per serving. Each serving is also low in fat and carbs, providing only 4g of carbs per serving with every 21-22g of protein. It’s sourced from a variety of different natural sources, such as pea, artichoke, amaranth, and quinoa.

Quality

This is a high quality organic and gluten free protein powder that is sourced from a combination of different natural sources such as peas, artichokes, amaranths, and quinoa. It also comes equipped with a nice amino acid profile as well as enzymes. These ingredients will not only help you build and grow muscle, but also help in keeping you satiated better. The powder is very fine and easily mixes with anything you put it in.

Taste

Since this is derived from organic ingredients, the texture of the powder can be a bit gritty and may be unpleasant to people who aren’t used to gritty powders, so keep note of that. It comes in Vanilla Bean, Chocolate, Cookies N Cream, Chocolate Raspberry, and Unflavored options. Unflavored is probably the best kind to get if you want to stay as green as possible; it also won’t compete with the natural flavors of ingredients that you add into your veggie protein shakes. Overall, the taste is bearable, especially for an organic blend.

Cost

The cost per ounce is on the higher end of the protein powder spectrum, but nowhere near as high as some powder can go. As of today, a 2 pound container costs around $33, making the cost of one ounce of around $0.97/ounce. Smaller containers usually cost more, so if you’re really looking to pinch pennies and get a better bang for the buck, you should look into buying a larger container if available. That’s it for this Plant Fusion review, but should check out the other healthy protein powders available to find out which one is best for you.
