I’m a big turkey stuffing fan and it’s something I look forward to every Thanksgiving. Having said that, stuffing’s main ingredient is usually bread. This isn’t a problem for the majority of the world, but poses a threat to those suffering with celiac disease. Thankfully, now you can enjoy stuffing this holiday season as well with this gluten free stuffing recipe.

1/2 cup – Butter
1 cup – Chopped Onions
1 1/2 cups – Chopped Celery
8 cups – Cubed Gluten Free Bread
1/2 pound – Gluten Free Sausage
2 tsp – Seasoning
1 tsp – Salt
1/2 tsp – Pepper
Chicken Broth or Water

  1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Crumble the sausage over medium heat until it’s brown and fully cooked.
  3. Remove sausage from the pan, then add the butter, onions, and celery into the pan.
  4. Cook these for about 10 minutes, or until the the veggies start turning transparent.
  5. Mix in the remaining ingredients, sausage included, and toss everything lightly.
  6. Taste and add seasoning to taste.
  7. Add either chicken broth or water to keep it moist, but not too much otherwise it’ll disintegrate the gluten free bread.
  8. Place the cooked mix into a 2 quart casserole dish, then sprinkle some more broth over it.
  9. Cover the dish with a lid or foil and let the stuffing bake for 45 minutes.
  10. Remove it from the heat and enjoy!
